Open Carry & Permitless (Constitutional) Carry has passed in Florida

• Must still be able to legally possess a firearm (US citizen or lawful US permanent resident, resident in state of FL).

  • Simply said, if you cannot pass the background check when buying a gun at the gun store, you cannot carry

• Firearms may be openly carried in full view or concealed

  • All rules, regulations, limitations, and prohibitions from Florida statutes still apply

• If not a permit holder, but legally carrying, you may not carry out of state

  • No reciprocity is given by any other state unless you have a Florida Concealed Weapons License

  • FL has reciprocity with 37 other states (subject to change and  their rules & regs)
